Specially designed kits which allow you to convert existing stock ring & pinion combinations to the more advantageous combos offered by a 66 tooth ring gear with a 9 tooth pinion gear or a middle of the road 84 tooth ring gear with a 10 tooth pinion gear which will offer more starter motor torque on the early models yet help prevent ring gear breakage from starter kickback on the later models equipped with 102 tooth ring gears.
