Its large integrated QSV-2 sun visor offers excellent glare protection even when the sun is low in the sky.
Certified in accordance with the current ECE-R 22.06 test standard, the NEOTEC3 is also suitable for use with the chin flap open at the appropriate speed thanks to P/J homologation. When the helmet is completely closed, an integrated, deeply branched ventilation system provides fresh air and cooling.

• The outer shell of the SHOEI NEOTEC3 is made of AIM (Advanced Integrated Matrix) and, in conjunction with a polystyrene core system made up of several elements with different absorption capacities, offers optimum impact protection that meets the requirements of the ECE-R 22.06 test standard.
• The SHOEI NEOTEC3 meets the requirements of this test standard for full-face helmets and jet helmets in equal measure. A second, stable grid position allows the helmet to be used with the chin flap open and locked in addition to the recommended use with the chin flap closed.
• The clear CNS-3C visor fitted as standard provides an almost unrestricted horizontal and vertical field of vision. The anti-fog PINLOCK EVO lens supplied with the helmet ensures unclouded vision even in adverse weather conditions.
• The pleasantly narrow chin strap with micro-ratchet fastener is comfortable to use and holds the helmet securely in position.
• A stainless steel locking mechanism locks the chin section securely and reliably in the closed position.
• 3 different outer shell sizes (XS-M | L | XL-XXL) allow the SHOEI NEOTEC3 to cover a wide range of sizes and at the same time provide an optimum ratio of helmet to rider size. A well-balanced helmet is easy on the neck muscles and prevents fatigue, both during inner-city commuting and on extended tours or long motorcycle trips.
• The three-dimensionally shaped head padding, the pre-shaped cheek pads with noise isolator and the chin strap padding are fully removable and washable. The head and cheek pads are available in different thicknesses for individual adjustment of the helmet. The fit of the helmet can be adjusted vertically with an insertable pad in the upper head area.
• Cheek pads extended to the back of the head with a voluminous underside, together with the removable ear pads, contribute effectively to noise reduction.
  The CNS-3C visor, fitted as standard, prevents the ingress of draughts and rainwater thanks to its characteristic upper edge, which is inclined towards the helmet shell.
• It can be opened and reliably closed without torsion using the centrally positioned locking mechanism. The visor mechanism allows the visor to be opened wide for additional fresh air while riding. The visor can be changed without tools thanks to the tried-and-tested, self-adjusting quick-change mechanism.
• The integrated, high-quality QSV-2 sun visor of the SHOEI NEOTEC3 can be extended continuously and covers the usable field of vision almost completely, even downwards. It can be easily replaced with an optional, yellow-tinted visor with a contrast-enhancing effect without the need for tools. This additional visor ensures optimum visibility for a wide range of applications and weather conditions.
• Cut-outs in the ear area, prepared cable guides and installation positions for the device parts allow quick and easy installation of the SRL3 communication system from SENA, which is available from the SHOEI range of accessories.
• Ventilation inlets facing directly into the airstream take in fresh air to reduce the temperature and humidity inside the SHOEI NEOTEC3. A removable filter in the lower front ventilation prevents insects from entering. Elevated ventilation controls allow the helmet to be operated even when wearing thick gloves, making it suitable for use in cold temperature zones or during the cold season.
• Smooth surfaces and transitions reduce the helmet's wind resistance and the wearer's exposure to noise, but allow the integrated spoilers on the sides and rear of the helmet and thus the sporty character of the SHOEI NEOTEC3 to be recognized. A stable mechanism ensures an eccentric rotational movement of the chin section when opening and closing, and enables minimal gaps between the chin section and the helmet shell. The transition area between the chin section and the helmet shell is smooth to reduce turbulence in the ear area and the associated noise.
  The SHOEI NEOTEC3 is supplied with a PINLOCK EVO visor for use with the CNS-3C visor fitted as standard, suitable replacement pins and a small maintenance tool that is helpful when installing the SRL communication system.
  Also included are a Breath Guard, a Chin Curtain (already fitted), SHOEI logo stickers, an original SHOEI helmet bag for gentle storage of the helmet and a silicone oil for maintaining the visor seal and mechanism.
