These brake pads have been specially developed for the polished brake disc category.
They are characterised by low abrasion, cause hardly any brake dust and yet often achieve better deceleration values than the standard brake.
To make a brake pad efficient, it should have a high coefficient of friction in conjunction with the brake disc, i.e. it should grind into the material of the brake disc without wearing it down too much.
Because this side effect is not desirable with polished brake discs and a clean appearance should be maintained for as long as possible, this pad builds up strong friction without making the wear visible.
Nevertheless, these pads achieve very good deceleration values.
