The heat from the exhaust system can become uncomfortable, especially in slow-moving traffic. This problem really comes into focus for those with shorter legs. To avoid disturbing the attractive lines and look of the exhaust, the DEI Heat Shield Liner Kit insulates the outer heat shield without disturbing the look of the motorcycle. Each piece is cut to fit between the exhaust pipe and the heat shield, blocking heat transfer and lowering the surface temperatures of the outer shield. Installation is simple and requires no permanent modifications. The heat shield liners are double layered aluminum and our proprietary Dura 2000™ insulation material and provide over 60% heat reduction.

Note: Heat Shield Liners are installed inside the cylinder head heat shields. Kits are compatible with black or chrome manifolds.
