The author of this book was born in '68 and at the tender age of 15 was already one of the boys who constantly had to do community service because he couldn't come to terms with the fact that you were only allowed to drive a moped at 25 km/h. This already formed the desire to spend the rest of his life in the oil and working on everything that has wheels. Here, the desire to spend the rest of his life in the oil and to work on everything that has wheels was already forming. After training as an automotive mechanic, Christian F. Berg immersed himself in the motorcycle industry at the beginning of the 1990s. He quickly got a taste for the legendary motorcycles of the cult brand Harley-Davidson. He felt at home here and spent days and nights rebuilding the seemingly antiquated bikes and keeping them alive. Naturally, the author also had contact with the owners of the heavy machines. Over the years, the author studied this kind of people, who often came from the wicked rocker scene. Drunk on this scene, he also dived into it, rocked around in it for almost 30 years and made his very own picture of the dealings and customs of this scene.

The stories and columns in this book happened one way or another and are about the social relationships between mechanics and customers, between rockers and their peers, and between ordinary people like you and me.

A book from us for us, full of life, garnished with plenty of cheeky banter from a rascal who is at home in the Lower Rhine and the Ruhr area.
