The main compartment is made from moulded EVA, which provides both shape and an extra barrier between the world outside and the precious things you're carrying inside. There are external pockets for items you need to access quickly, plus a laptop sleeve and sunglasses pocket. There is even a 3DO pocket so your backpack can double as an armour.
