Our floating brake disk ensures optimum deceleration. Brake ring and hub are flexibly connected by bushings and thus the friction ring can expand without passing on its deformation to the rest of the disc. We therefore recommend Ferodo EcoFriction brake pads (#584-2079EF, for stock calipers) and TRW SDP978 (#1721-0679, for Brembo radial calipers) to go with our floated brake discs.
