This clutch offers more than twice as much friction surface as series clutches. Problems, such as long idle search, stiff shifting, or even slipping under hard acceleration are a thing of the past. Steel spacers at the end of the clutch pack minimize wear on the aluminum clutch cover. Six reinforced clutch springs are used here, instead of the diaphragm spring on the original. Another set of springs is included in the kit to adjust the clutch to different requirements. These adjustments can be made without removing the primary cover. Barnett clutches can be used with all primary oils.
